Return Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
We accept returns/exchanges on molds with defects ONLY, and only defects that were the fault of Modern Mold. Every mold is inspected before shipment, however we are human so please reach out to us if there is an issue. Kindly note that cosmetic defects such as those on the outside of the mold will not affect your resin piece and are therefore not eligible for replacement.
You must contact us within 14 days of receipt of your order to report a defect.
Some resins are harsher than others and may cause irreparable damage to your mold. We are unable replace molds that have been damaged by your casting material.
We are unable to accept returns or order cancellations for any reason other than a defect as stated above.
Custom and personalized orders
Unfortunately we are unable to make custom molds at this time.
Lost/Damaged Packages
REFUNDS AND REPLACEMENTS FOR LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES WILL ONLY BE ISSUED AFTER THE CLAIM IS APPROVED.
For damaged packages, CanadaPost requires photos of both the damaged item and the shipping box in order to file a claim. Claims will not be filed without these photos.
Forced Returns
A forced return is when an order is returned without authorization - such as in the case of incorrect address/return to sender, or if a package was unclaimed from the post office and was eventually RTS.
In these instances, you can choose between having the package resent to you at your cost, or a partial refund. As we offer "free" shipping in North America and we partially cover the cost of international shipping out of pocket, we can only issue a refund minus the *true* cost of shipping.
